Botak Jones: Big portions of REAL Western food at good prices
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]

  • Restaurant Name: Botak Jones

Botak Jone is, hands down, the best place to fill up on American food in Singapore without spending a fortune. The tourist-y places down by Clarke Quay charge $20++ for a burger, whereas the burger sets at Botak Jones start at $7 (with coleslaw and a massive portion of fries). They also do hot dogs, chicken Caesar salads, fish & chips, and yummy appetizers like cheese-stuffed breaded jalapeno peppers. Best off, all their prices include GST and service charges. You can view the full website online: http://www.botakjones.com/menu.php

The 'Brewski Jones' locations also serve alcohol - margaritas ($20 for a pitcher), beer ($15 for a jug), and wine ($5/glass).

There's a handful of locations of them across Singapore with most of them being really close to residential areas. Botak Jones isn't exactly a 'restaurant' so much as they're a stall in a food centre. The Toa Payoh location is great because they also serve alcohol and have outdoor patio tables.

Favorite Dish: I love the cajun chicken (either the burger or the plate) - comes topped with lots of melted mozarella cheese and cajun sauce. The burgers are great too - huge juicy things! The margaritas are delicious and probably the cheapest in town - $20 for a pitcher of lime, $23 for other fruit flavors.
