"The Secret City" Limburg by IThinkImLost

Well my friends and I spent a lot of time searching through Germany looking for a great place, and this is what we have found. This is a little city that is about 45/60 minutes from Darmstadt. Why do we like this place? Well because there where no Americans. We are soldiers and in some cities we do not have the best name, so here was a fresh start. So this was the place, nothing too special about this city but it had a great nightlife. There was one disco in the area and this was where everyone went for the night. The older crowd was there till midnight, then the younger crowd took over. The name was NauchSheast, or something like that. Night Shift if you where to translate it. Over the next few years this was the place of many adventures and stories that I will never forget.

Well one of the best Stories of the time was the one when my friend went to sleep in the wrong bed, in the wrong house. You probable are asking yourself how this could happen. Well it started off with an early trip Limburg to meet some friends and get some lunch. Myself, Rasco, and Stavie all pile into the car and head out to Limburg to meet Stavie's girlfriend for lunch. As we arrived there a little after noon we found a nice Oriental restaurant, which had great food. (This took place a really long time ago and I no longer remember the name of this place, but the city is small so if you are ever there I am sure you would find it). Anywise, so we get there and order our food and drinks and converse about the night ahead. Now we are still pretty new to Germany and do not fully understand the language, but from what we can tell this description next to some of the cocktails says something about 2 people, and we where right.

The three of us are relative capable drinkers and we are pretty sure that a two person drink is the perfect size fore one of us; so we each order a 2 person drink. Some are better then others and this sparks a general curiosity about the rest of the menu. Well the three of us decide that it would be a good idea to try each and every cocktail on the menu, well this is where it starts. So after each of us tries each cocktail we are a little over the edge and time to get us out of the public eye and let us sober up before night. So our nice German friend, we call her the Naught Nurse, takes us to her place to let us rest up. Well I quickly find the couch and fall asleep. My friend Stavie and his girlfriend go to sleep in her room, while the third one of us is Rasco who decides that he needs to use the bathroom.

Well I guess the bathroom is a community bathroom in this place because it is placed out side the front door. Well Rasco didn’t know that this was the front door, and was just a door in part of the house. Now after he has used the bathroom he wanders around looking for a place to sleep. He heads up stairs and finds an empty bed. In a drunk mans eye this is the best thing to see so Rasco goes right to bed.

Now I am not sure on the time that passed but we all woke up to a load scream that came from upstairs. Well it turns out that the other room was another apartment, and the bed belonged to the old land lord. She was not too happy to see a half naked boy in her bed. Now Rasco speak 0 German and has no idea what this lady is yelling at her, but he knows it is not good. Finally the naughty nurse comes to the rescue and gets him out and to safety. We all leave the house and pile into the car and head out to leave the situation and here Rasco's version of the story.
