Newport is Wales third city (after Cardiff and Swansea). It has, perhaps, tended to suffer a bit for being close to Cardiff, however in recent years the centre of the city has been greatly improved and there is quite a lot on offer in this city.
It happens to be the city where my mum and dad live so I am a regular visitor. I did not grow up there but have got to know it well over the last 18 years.
