Paris is everything that you're told and more. It is a dynamic and, most of all, charming city with many attractions. Contrary to what I'd been told, the people were so friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.

I had dreamed of going to Paris since school, when I studied my French, hoping one day to use it. Armed with my dictionary, I was ready. I didn't too badly, and resorted to hand signals when needed. What impressed me most (minding that it was off-season) was that almost everyone we encountered respected our attempt to speak their language, and responded very kindly.

Paris is endless in its attractions, and I have so many happy memories. And so many more things to see when I go back someday.
