I did my first travels as a young boy with my parents to most countries around the Mediterranean Sea.
I am very glad that we had the opportunity to see all these countries, because I really couldn't live without travelling today. I feel very sorry with people who don't travel, didn't ever travel, don't even think or want to travel.
The worst is if you meet people who think travelling is something not important, not worth to spend time and money. Those are poor, poor in the heart and poor in the mind!
If all people were travelling a lot more, if everyone once had felt like a foreigner, there would be much less problems to live together with others!
I really love this picture, it took 2 hours and several films til I had it but the result was definitely worth it! |
| | Photography is one of my very hobbies. Here comes on of my favourite pics and my very bestseller. Not my bride :-), just a perfectly combined pic taken by chance. I took it in the cloister of the monastery Monreale, Palermo, Sicily, Italy in 1984. |
