Cesky Krumlov Travel Guide: 359 reviews and 1,009 photos

Some parts of the Cesky Krumlov have traces of medieval architecture- mostly monuments and buildings. If you think tourists come here only because of the castle and its chateau, you are wrong. The river and the dwellings best describe the beauty of the town.

The Rozmberks' (1302) love for science and arts helped brought economic and cultural development in the area. Cesky Krumlov under the Rozmberks has achieved a high level of importance and popularity. In 1992, it was added to UNESCO's World Heritage List.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Tourists-friendly
  • Cons:Mainly for tourists.
  • In a nutshell:It's like being in a fairytale. At one point, I thought I heard horses marching down the bridge. Then I glanced at the river and at the palace and all I can smell is the majestic air.
