So, which part of Italy do you like most? The question's a difficult one, isn't it? And to think I've only been to Pisa, Firenze, Lucca and Siena (Toscana), Roma (Lazio). My love for Italy is already this mmmmmmmmmmuch! I wonder if I won't like to settle there if I get to see some places of the following regions:
Piemonte Valle d’Aosta Lombardia Trentino Alto Adige Friuli Venezia Giulia Veneto Liguria Emilia Romagna Marche Umbria Abruzzo Molise Campania Puglia Basilicata Calabria Sicilia Sardegna
Italy had me with its tomato soup. Then I realized Italian cuisine includes great cheese, wine, pasta and coffee! Imagine how exciting its regional cuisines are! Their meal structure includes
aperitivo, antipasto (hot or cold appetizer), primo (first course), secondo (second course), contorno (side dish), formaggio e frutta (first dessert: cheese and fruits), dolce (cakes or cookies), caffe, digestivo. As a tourist, I see to it that I get to taste some gelati while on the go!
Enough said about the Italian cuisine, shopping, too, is enough reason to go to Italy. Italy is known for elegant leather shoes, bags and of course, fashion, in general!
Well, whenever I go to Italy, I see to it that I go to its historical sites. Since I find it easy to make a short trip to Rome, I often visit the Vatican City, the Colosseo, the Pantheon and just go to all Piazza as it feels too good to be with the Roman crowd (and some tourists of course).
Yes, I will never get tired of greeting "Ciao, Italia!" |
