I enjoy my travels more than ever because of VT. In here, I get reliable travel tips and I get to share some too. It's a give and take relationship really. You throw some jokes in the Miscellaneous Forum, you get some thrown at you too.

I can read and type xGm9#gU4p as the screen shows. Anyway, to prove that I am human (to those whom I haven't met in VT Meets yet), here are some infos about me (which, I hope to God, you won't forward to Wikipedia).

Born in Tarlac, Philippines, I moved to Vienna in January 1992. Between 2005 and 2010, I worked in Kabul, Afghanistan. Since last year, I have been enjoying a bomb-free life in Vienna. Well, that's actually not true. I still watch the evening news and change channels (BBC, CNN, Euronews) to see what is happening in the world. Looks like terrorist acts will be on earth for a while. I am a pacifist and I find suicide bombings totally unacceptable. It may take some time for me to believe again that I live in a safe world.

Beijing, China

I find travelling alone or with friends more enjoyable than when travelling with a man. Perhaps I Was Born This Way (credits to Lady Gaga).

in Siam Reap, Cambodia

One reason why I prefer to travel alone is that I don't have to take care of my looks when I go out. You'll see in here another example of a bad hair day. As soon as I arrived from the airport, I took a shower and the 30-minute motorcycle ride made me change my hair conditioner the next day.

Agra, India

I had a brief vacation in Vienna, Sopron, Paris and Dubai in February;
In April, we had a great time in Hong Kong. Then I spent some days in Singapore and Dubai;
I spent some days in Dubai/Vienna/Austria end May/early June;
Visited Beijing in the 3rd week of June;
Celebrated my birthday in Dubai in August;
Spent some beautiful days in Vienna, Balaton, Istanbul and Dubai in September;
In the Philippines and Singapore in November;
and back to Vienna and Dubai in December.

In 2010 and in 2011

in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

A traveller by heart, I started 2010 not with a bang or crash but with a safe flight. I flew from Vienna to Dubai on January 1. After checking in the hotel at around 11 p.m., I rushed to the City Centre and did some shopping. The next morning, I took a plane to Kabul and worked the very next day.
On February 2, I flew to Dubai. Then on February 3 to Tanzania. I visited Dar and Arusha then returned to Dubai on February 10. Back to Kabul on February 11.
I visited Dubai, Vienna, Budapest from April 6 to 22.
Euromeet in Krakau (didn't post any tips though).
Weekend in Dubai in July.
In Dubai from August 7 to 11.
In Vienna on August 12.
In Prague from 22 to 24 October.
In Istanbul from November 19 to 21.
In London from December 24 to 27.
