Why travel? Today like any other day, I get out of my comfort zone and look at other people. Rescued by the company of lovely creatures and scenic views, I move on…. Always aspirant to learn or see something new while being reticent and enthusiastic… Vigilant of good and bad, I seek ways of living a meaningful life while having fun Earth is a huge place for you and me…Let’s go from one place to the other at different times and Lo and behold, at one point, our paths may cross one day and we might even exchange “Hellos!” |
How do I travel? Everyday, I travel by armoured vehicle to work. Nothing fancy. A necessity in Kabul. Always have problem with the heavy door though. In Austria, I prefer travelling by train. Check out http://www.oebb.at. At large, I feel comfortable travelling by plane. I've flown Lufthansa, Philippine Airlines, Air Berlin, Fly Niki, Air France, Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Silk Air, Austrian Airlines, Air India, Cathay Pacific, Dragon Air... My most favourite is Singapore Airlines. My second choice is Cathay Pacific. Third choice is Fly Niki (Air Berlin). I have a bike. I used to go to the grocery with my bike. After a terrible accident, it stayed in the store room. I can't even remember its colour ;-) |
Travelling is fun! I am sure quite a number have experienced and seen more than I have and I hope to discover your tips and beautiful photographs! As for giving tips, I will not post something just because I have been there or have tried something. I will try to be selective in such a way that you will avoid something that I have been through and perhaps enjoy an experience that I have liked. |

Where to in 2009? I had a brief vacation in Vienna, Sopron, Paris and Dubai in February; In April, we had a great time in Hong Kong. Then I spent some days in Singapore and Dubai (got to write some tips!!!); I spent some days in Dubai/Vienna/Austria end May/early June; Visited Beijing visit in the 3rd week of June; I would like to visit another African country (perhaps Kenya or Ethiopia); Finally I wish to see the beauty of St. Petersburg :D I will try to visit one zoo this year because I look better when I'm close to another creature ;-) |
Where will my feet lead me? We are all travellers. We go from place to place - alone, with friends, with companion, with family.... from A to B.... for various reasons. My travels have made me understand life better. Name it - be it about poverty, politics, pollution, population, production...After all, my name starts with P (and you thought you'll read something serious here, eh?). |
