The land of Perito Moreno

The Francisco Pascasio Moreno was an explorer expert in limits (Perito) who explored almost every place of Patagonia, discovering for the Argentine Republic the magic places that today we know as National Parks.
The Republic paid his work with lands, one of them was the actual Nahuel Huapi National Park emplacement. On november 3rd 1903 Moreno gave back this lands to the Argentine Republic, with the charge of founding the first National Park of the country.
So in 1934 the Nahuel Huapi National Park was founded. It is 705.000 hectareas wide and protects the most representative north patagonic flora and fauna.
Is a very touristic place with ski resorts, and lake crossings.
The Modesta Victoria is one of the first vessels that crosses the lake since the early times, she was built in the Netherlands in 1937, and still mantaining the power and the beauty.
