Miyajima - Miyajima

Our visit to Miyajima was marred by bad weather. Unfortunately, we didn't get to do very many of the things we had planned, but we still had a good time. My favorite memory is of the view of the Floating Tori gates, and sadly, memory is all I have, as we got a bit slack on the photography side of things on this leg of our trip! We had only planned on staying here for 1 night, so the rain really did put a damper on things. Our planned trip to Mt Misen was cancelled as the cable car was not in operation due to the previous weeks storms and landslides. On the up side... the mist (when it stopped raiming for a while) made everything look very mysterious and beautiful.
