We are lucky enough to have great beaches at home, so when we come to the Gold Coast it is usually to let the kids (and Grant) run amok in the theme parks. There are plenty to choose from, Wet and Wild, Movie World, Sea-World, Dreamworld. There is also plenty of fun to be had right in the middle of Surfers Paradise...try being catapulted up above the highrises in a giant slingshot for instance! Or flying like a bird in the giant swing! Bungy jumping is also available for the truly crazy!
