I started by taxi( 1000 bath for day) at 7.30 from Sananwan Palace Gueshouse . It tooks me 15 min to get to the Wat Bang Pli Yat Klang( a temple of Buddah,s Heart). This Temple not adopted for tourists. It seems to me as a school of Buddizm for locals
I was walking around the Temple till opening at 8.30. I took a lot of pictures outside temple and inside a statue of reclinung Buddah and saw a lot of interesting. Yes, there is realy 4 levels INSIDE Buddah!
At 9.30 I started to Erawan Three-Headed Elephant. It takes me about 30 min inside and about 30 min outside in the park. Also I asked my driver to ride by the highest of the roads to make picture of this Elephant . So I lost some time for turning but took amasing photos of Three-Headed Elephant and of Chao Praya River from the Bridge.
At 11.10 I get to Crocodile Farm@Zoo. Crocodile Wrestling Show already started at 11.00. I passed directly to this Show and saw the most interesting part of it. I made a 15-min- video and photo Me with Cricodile as I wanted.
This Farm@Zoo must see especially for tourists with the children. It is a full-day attraction but I was short of time so visited only the most exotic points. I took a funny pictures of Huge Hippos eating bananas and of Big Old Tiger immovable sitting in the pool only head above the water. I visited Big Crocodile Rasing Zone and bought Crocodile Tooth as a souvenir for my son.
At 12.50 I started to Ancient City. For 3 hours I was riding bicycle along the roads of this Park. I saw the preparations for Songkran – sand sculptures and boat-building procedure. Territory is large but I managed to see all the places of my interest. 3 months before I translated to Russian the descriptions of 116 objects of Muang Boran( information from www site). This self-made guide book was wery useful and now I posted it at Russian Site of Independed Traveles
At 16.30 my program vas over. On returning way 5 minute ride from Ancient City I saw the Point of seagulls feeding . All the tourists leaving Ancient City made a short stop there so I did the same. There was a thousands of birds, may be from Russia
So I took a very interesting and bright day in Samut Prakan and it was a nice rest while my returning way from dirt-bike travel throught Cambodgia.
By the way, there was no time to visit Prasat Phra Wihan - the Khmer temple near Thai-Kambo border/ But in Ancient City I find it,s copy 1:10 placed on 54m hill with perfect wiew to all Muang Boran
What about Sananwan Palace Guesthouse it was TERRIBLE. Room looks clean and renewed but there was insects like very small colorless ants in the bed and mosquitos in the wet and non-faned hot bathroom. All the nights (2) i was listening TV from connected room. It was impossible to eat, to relax, to make massage there . I was very hungry and tired of them. I find a local meal outside only I paid 500 bath for pick-up transfer from SUV airport and was waiting 40 minutes for the car! There was a lot of problems about my check-out. Staff was very angry and unpolite , speaking very loud. They didn,t let me go out in spite of I paid all the bills. They made me nervous and crying, I couldn,t understand anything. Luckely other tourists help me to go out. I took a moto-taxi to Suvanabhum and in spite of traffic managed to catch my flight
PS : tell the truth swimming pool realy clean and nice in Sananwan Palace
