"One of Missouri's State Parks" Bennett Springs by lv2qwlt
Bennett Springs Travel Guide: 1 reviews and 6 photos
Our family has been coming here for generations. The park is in a beautiful setting, and it is a great place to go fishing or camping. The spring runs through the park and empties into the Niangua River. In most places above the dam, you will have to wear waders to get into the water for fishing, but in the lower half of the stream, around the Whistle Bridge it is possible to fish from the banks. You must buy a daily tag to fish from the Park Store. This is all run by the Missouri Conservation Department, and the fees go to help fund the hatchery, where they raise trout.
