There is a small camping ground on Inis Mor and you are advised to use this site rather than camping independently. The locals are not as open on Inis Mor as on the other Aran Islands to people camping randomly on their land ;)
The camp site is located about 10 minutes cycle from Kilronan along the northern road towards Kilmurvy. There are toilet facilities on site but no showers and the cost is €2 euro per person per night.
To reach the site follow the road to Kilmurvy and turn right when you come to Joe Watty’s Pub. The camp site is approx 1km down this road in a small field on the left.
