HUNGARY centre of Europa remains of monuments such as the Romans city of Aquincum and the Gothic castle of Buda,which have exercised considerable architectural influence over various periods, is one of the world's
outstanding urban lanscapes and illustrates the great periods in the history of the Hungarian capital.

Outside the capital is to travel through plains, resort-lined lakes, baroque towns and rustic village.
Hungary's other attractions include sampling its quality wines, taking the waters in a relaxing thermal spa, or bird watching of the best spots in Europe.
Two large rivers, the Duna and Tisza, as well as the Hungarian lakes, Balaton, Ferto, Velence and Tisza.

There are 1,200 natural and man made lakes in Hungary, the largest and the best known is lake Balaton,
is situated in the middle of western Hungary. Lake Balaton, nicknamed the Hungarian Sea and regarded as one of the main tourist lures of the country, has the potential to become a noteworthy competitor with the regions seaside resorts


Lake Velence is smaller, Ferto lakes
situated along the Austrian border, belongs to HUNGARY.

The Highest Peak of Hungary

The "top" of Hungary is the Kekes, a 3326 feet high Matra Mountains peak. The unparalleled panorama can be seen from the television tower lookout. There is a winter sports centre and a health-resort. The nearby hotel at Galyateto welcomes guests all year round.
The excellent quality of the air helps convalescence after various illnesses. Matrafured, Matrahaza and Matraszentimre - favorite destinations for rural tourism.
