Cairns Hotel Tips by travelpixie

I recently stayed at the All Seasons Sunshine Tower and I have to say I have never been treated with such genuine kindness as I was by the front desk staff at this hotel. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with big smiles and faces that seemed glad to see me.

The rooms are average and in need of updating, but they are well equipped. The room had full ensuite batroom, tea & coffee facilites, air conditioning, free inhouse movies, telephone and comfy beds. It was very clean and the housekeeping staff were lovely.

I booked all my tours at reception and the staff were all very knowledgeable and answered all my questions, they even answered some I hadn't thought of yet. They weren't interested in selling me the most expensive tours but suggested ones they had personally tried and enjoyed.

Breakfast was buffet style and was very tasty with more smiling staff offering a "good morning" as I walked in. The restaurant is not open for dinner or lunch but being so close to the city I really wanted to explore my choices anyway.

All in all one of my best hotel experiences. And a big hello to the reception staff at the All Seasons Sunshine Tower!!
