New Orleans As of Feb 2008, New Orleans is still torn up from Hurricane Katrina. For some reason I had it in my head that I wouldn't see the houses that were ruined...that it only affected one area of town. Not true at all. Poverty is all over the town.
The French Quarter is a beautiful part of town. Very glad I went there. |
