I spent 3 days in Beijing in October 2006 before taking the train to Ulan Bator. My first impressions of the city is that it was less hectic and more relaxed than Shanghai.
In the 3 days, I managed to visit Tiannamen Square, the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, Ming Tombs and I did some exploring in the Wangfujing shopping area.
