"What a great place for a short hike" Ha Ha Tonka State Park by scott_norwood

A gem at the SE tip of the Lake of the Ozarks

The ruins of a castle-like mansion, the Lake of the Ozarks, karst topography, lots of trails and good facilities. This is a great place for a day trip with plenty of opportunities to photograph wildlife (I saw ducks, fish, & deer last trip) and a chance to climb through wooded hills with lots of interesting rock formations.
