Channeling the gods | Chiang Mai's Songkran festival dancer |
This dancer was re-enacting some ancient rite during the Songkran festival in Chiang Mai. You may know that the highlight of the holiday is a multi-day water fight around the moat of the old city.
My buddy and I bought squirt tubes that could push water 10-20 meters, filled them up with ice-cold water and blasted passers by. I got to tell you, it's silly but a lot of fun. |
