Bohol is one of the nearest neighbors to Cebu, the 2nd city and hub to all of the Visayas. Bohol is a slower, quieter island that has many of the appeals of a bit of nature and nice beaches. There’s above average scuba diving and enough to keep a tourist happy for several days.
Though I only explored a small part of the island, I can report that the people are generally nice and easy going and that this could be an ideal place for those who would like resort-type living (accoms right on the beach, lots of restaurants) for a bargain. |
