Pollution makes for some spectacular sunsets I've spent what feels like too much time in Manila. If it wasn't for my business interests, I'd just as soon give this place a miss. There's really not all that much for the tourist to do, once you've "done" some of the obvious things.
On the other hand, this place is becoming a cosmopolitan melting pot, 24 hour city that services the world via call centers and BPO shops. The people are what make it and what I hope you will see in some of my tips is that it's not what you do as much as who you spend time with in Manila. |
