    • Favorite Thing: On the way to Pinar while travelling from Havana, U will find places like Las Terrazas, Soroa’s waterfalls, Soroa’s Orchidarium and a lot of camp sites for Cuban and foreign tourists. Some of the best are: El Taburete in Las Terrazas (a nice place to get into the forests and spend the whole day walking) and La Chorrera

    • Favorite Thing: Las Terrazas is an UNESCO Biosphere created in the early 1970's. Nearly 5 million trees were replanted. As a result of this reforestation many different plant and insect species that were on the brink of extinction were born again with the force of millions. Only a limited number of tourists are allowed to enter yearly to this paradise. While you are there do not miss Rio San Juan where the water maintains a fresh 22 degrees celcius all year round.

    • Favorite Thing: One of the most attractive places in Pinar de Rio is Viñales Valley. A great valley surrounded by Mogotes and full of all the Cuban colors we can expect to find in a countryside setting like this.
    There U can go to tourist places like: The Prehistoric Wall or take a tour throughout the caves.

    • Fondest Memory: Vinhales,a very nice persson!!
    I willl remember her for ever,we had a long chat about life and I learned alot from her!!
    Some times it si very important for us to listen to what the elder have to say to us becouse the have the wisdom why need to understand our path on earth!!
    Remember ,one day we will be them for the new childrens of this land!!
