Just briefly visited Birkenhead during a business trip on 22 October 2007.

I don't know what the Birkenhead School Board is about, but did find two years that may be of importance to it.

1893 School Board appointed
1902 Education Committee took the place of the School Board

It says Post-Office Buildings on the facade. This building is adjacent to the Old School building.
