Erlangen is a small beautiful city Near Nuremberg located on the confluence of River Regnitz and its tributory Untere Schwabach. Friedrich Alexander Univesity of Erlangen is very famous and has produced many eminent personalities. The universirty has a beautiful park where people can spend thier time peacefully.
The famous 12 day annual festival (Anna Festival) is a spring festval held during end May to early June every year. This festival is the second biggest Beer Festival in Germany after the famous October Festival of Munich. This festival was first held in 1755. Over a million people attend this fesival every year. |
