"A NEW EARTH" kmohandas's Profile

GOD'S OWN PLANET WITH BEAUTIFUL LANDSCAPES

Our planet Earth is a unique place in the Universe (Perhaps in the Multiverse). We all have the power to create a new Earth and make this world a better place to live in.
Henry Ford once said "Coming together is a begining, Keeping together is progress, Working together is success".
Let us all travel across the world, meet different people, learn about different cultures, understand them, respect them and trust them.
Let us come together like a team. Together let us create a Global village without any boundaries
"The whole is better than sum of the parts".
We all are aware that there are billions and billions of garaxies in the universe. Our galaxy Milky Way is just one among that. Milky Way galxy contains billions of stars and our star Sun is just an avarage star on one of it's spiral arms. Earth is just one of Sun's eight planets (Pluto is not considered as a planet now).
Perhaps human beings will never be able to travel across differant stars or galaxies. But we are capable of travellig across the globe. So, let us grab every opportunity to do so and see God's beautiful creations.
Human beings wre travellers right from the begining. Vast migration of human beings across countries and continents have shaped the civilization of today. Migration of people across continents will continue in future also either due to compulsion, due to change in ecology or for better living standards. But majority of the travelling in future shall be to see the beautiful and picturesque land scpes across the globe.

GREATEST GIFT OF GOD- HIMALAYA MOUNTAINS

The Himalayas is one of the youngest mountain ranges in the world. Its evolution can be traced to the Jurassic Era (approx. 80 million years ago). World’s landmasses were split into two viz. Eurasia in the Northern hemisphere and Gondwana land in the southern hemisphere. The landmass which is now calledd India broke away from Gondwana land and floated across the earth’s surface until it collided with Asia. The hard volcanic rocks of India were thrust against the soft sedimentary crust of Asia, creating the highest mountain range in the world.

BEAUTIFUL VALLEYS

The delightful journey along the rolling foothills of Himlaya presents dramatic panoramic views of heady Himalayan ranges in the distance. Rising from the fertile plains of Ganges, the valleys are dense with bush, pine, fir, alpine flowers, flora and fauna. The terraced fields are tilled by generation after generation of hill farmers and irrigated by streams and rivers. A true reflection of spirituality and nature in complete harmony.

WONDERFUL LAKES

The diverse geographical structures and huge rivers form numerous lakes in the world.. Many of natural lakes across the world are tranquil and pristine and conceal a great charm in their tender arms. Almost every region of the world is dwelt by several of lakes that add great charm to their natural characteristics.
In India, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh are undoubtedly in possession of largest number of lakes than anywhere else in the country. Dhebar lake, Nakki lake, Pushkar lake, Chandra Tal, Suraj Tal, Dal Lake are some of the most important lakes that lies in these regions.

In south India there are lakes like Husain Sagar, Vembanad lake, Chembarambakkam and Sashthamkotta which attract lot of tourists across the globe.. Dal Lake in Kashmir is famous for its natural beauty.
The hundreds of lakes lying in the rich natural surroundings all over the world attract large number of tourists, and have become hot picnic spots.

VAST OCEANS AND SEAS

The high seas, the oceans, make up most of the Earth’s surface area. They are without any territorial boundaries and outside the control of any individual country. Hence they’re the responsibility of all states. There are incredible array of wildlife, much still not discovered. Their sizes vary from the largest animal ever having lived on Earth, the blue whale, to tiny plankton. Its environments include acrid smoking vents and deep sea coral reefs, hosting some of the wonderful creatures. Protecting this vast region and its unique wildlife is a challenge.. .
People do not often think about how much humans depend on the world’s oceans. Oceans regulate the climate, maintain a liveable atmosphere, and break down natural wastes. According to conservationist Carl Safina, “Without an ocean, this planet would merely spin unnamed three orbits from a star, its browned-out face its own sterile moons.”

AMAZING ATOLLS

Atolls are circular, oval, or horseshoe-shaped arrays of coral reef islands that are formed around an oceanic volcanic seamount and encircle a shallow central lagoon. The small islands are separated from each other by channels that lead from the sea into the central lagoon.
Because atoll formation requires coral reef building, atolls are limited to tropical waters. Atolls are most commonly found in the Pacific and Indian Oceans.
Atolls can vary greatly in size, ranging from quite small to over 130 kilometres (km) long and over 30 km wide

PLEASING SUNSETS

A Sunset point is the most romantic place in the world. A beach or mountain with a beautiful view of sunset is the most ideal romantic place. That is the reason why a Sunset awakens the creativity and imagination of poets, artists and painters.
We can enjoy the sunset only if the weather is fine.. Thousands of people stroll, sit or lay down on the beaches during cool evenings with a fine weather. Many of them get into the waters and chase with the waves. Many simply sit there watching sunset sipping hot coffee or their favourite drink.
A view of Sunset on a cool day with fine weather is really soothing and refreshing.
" Put your soul in the hands of the music, man
You may think you can't be saved, But you can
So let the movement shake your soul
Come on, Come on now take control
And shine like a sunset rising.

Beyond the rising sunset, Truth through the eye
Let the music lift you up to the golden sky
Within a sunset, shining and rising high
So put your soul in the hands of the music, man
Like a sunset rising, music will never die". (Mark Hopwood)

THE WONDERFUL MOTHER EARTH (VASUNDHARA)

Let all of us put our best effort to save Mother Earth from pollution and achieving sustainability. It implies that certain freedom long taken for granted have to be restrained in the greater interest of the planet.
