I stumbled into Hildesheim by accident. I was driving from Koeln to Luebeck when I ran into a tremendous Stau on the Autobahn. Hildesheim was the last place I could safely reach before all the tourist offices closed, so I stopped and booked a room. I had an incredible room and a wonderful evening in this quiet gem of a city. |
