From the South to the North

by Labrix - last update: Oct 4, 2007

The origin

The cave of my grandparents
My mother was born in a cave, it's true! She's from Castilléjar, a little town in the province Granada where it's very usual this way of life. When I say that everybody it's surprised, I explain to them how it's to live in a cave, but the true is that is very difficult for the people to imagine it.

You can find more info about my mother's town in the page of my travels, I thougt that I had to include it, as all my chillhood holidays were there.

The present

Even that my family comes from Andalucía, in the South of Spain, I was born and I live in Catalunya, in the North-East. At the beginning we were living in a little city at 10 Km. from Barcelona. Later I moved to Barcelona and I lived there for 3 years. But cities are too noisy and stressing for me. That is why I convinced my partner to move to Sitges. It's 35 Km. at the South of Barcelona, and it's a beautiful white little town over the Mediterranean. I'm very happy with the change ;o)
