Coming to Bogor from Jakarta south it is not so far away -
with "Jalan Tol Jagorawi" very quick with highway, if not traffic jam.

In history Bogor was "Buitenzoorg" south of Batavia-
but today it seems like "One" town and if you look for a map,
you will find "JABOTABEK" (Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang, Bekasi).

Bogor is from administation in the province West Java, but now in real time it seems me (like "JABOTABEK" says) Bogor is a real a part of greater Jakarta area, today are not real greater free spaces like in past between the old town areas.

Bogor was on the other hand the first step on the way Jakarta- Bandung over the Puncak pass and mountains in the old time. Now so around 2004 the Jakarta -Bandung Highway started and the most drivers are moving the quick southwest highway tour far away of Bogor.

The old historic Bogor has much sightseeings to show in remembering "Buitenzoorg"- shure the guide will much more tell agout Bogor than is place here at this little side- so the ancient history, the Botanic garden....
