Jakarta:Little house with garden-kebun dekat rumah

Find out the real Jakarta!

Special in the great Megapolis Jakarta the "Ibukota JABOTABEK" (Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang, Bekasi), in the Jakarta biru,
behind the hight modern buildings the very most people live in flat houses complexes the "kerumahan"- most named as "kompleks xxy.."
mostly of the little houses have to street side a little garden - the kebun- with little flowers like Orchids and nice "Bougainvillas" that with the so much red pink flowers,
or if more place at side of streets with greater trees, like Mango and some otherfresh tropical fruits, a Banana Tree, a Coconut palm, see at photo- not all have this, but if there is a nice atmosphere even in the unbelivable hot time between Mai and September.

Visiting friends we suddenly see the nice "Bunga Mawar"!
Inmid the little garden were carfully set two little Red Roses-
Ibu R.... yth. was very proud to show us her beloved garden-
here in little home in the hot weather of Jakarta!
In the garden all together fine to have some shadows in the above mentioned hot weather - the "musim KEMARAU" ....

Kembali ke Jakarta -modern Keroncong Music Jakarta

Keroncong, this is a special Musik, and worth hearing. Now is in modern times coming to pop music.
Maybe there are much new now -
but here a recommendation to Ms. Dewi Yull in an older casset from the 90ties.
The song "Kembali ke Jakarta" is nice - gives the special feeling for the so much people living there , or coming long times before from all parts of Indonesia to Jakarta-
for work and feeling home there in this difficult great megacity Ibukota Jakarta.

Matahariku ...Surprise on Jakarta highway

As in all big citys in the week-
much cars, "macet" the Jakarta usual traffic chaos so about 30 km/hour
and the weather is usually hot...
but than suddenly: here comes the sun...
Matahariku...
and all seems fine again...

"Nasi Goreng"on the way-Lunchtime in Jakarta

In Jakarta of course much restaurants- but what are eating the so much people working in that area?

So are much street sellers there, who offers the typical local food there in much differnt kinds.
So here at noon near the big office towers we meet this Ibu offering local "nasi goreng" in palm leaves - see the photo.

I think much little employee in the offices have not much free lunch time and so like to use this kind to get a delicious lunch.
