Magdeburg valley afternoon seen from western hills

Magdeburg at River Elbe in middle of Germany

A travel from Magdeburg around the world-
in the next virtual tourist sides, after this small Intro you can find a bit more about it.

For contrast here -same only as short bird eye- a near view of Magdeburg, from where my travel started.

It is an early summer view - if you come with car from Hannover to Berlin. Leave the highway for a moment, follow the Bundesstraße 1 and make a stop at the parking place at "Olvenstedter Berg"- so at nearly every weather a very nice view.

From north to south part of Magdeburg, so about 20 km in distance, situated in the rivervally of the Elbe.

Good to see in the mid are the towers of the old historic romanic/gotic Magdeburger Dom - and see, the sandstone towers with so about 100 m, reach the same hight like the hill!
