Coming to Orlando? Come prepared! I live here, so I know a lot of what there is to do here and how to get the most out your experience.
I've realized that many people come here without much of a game plan. They pretty much just booked airfare and a hotel. You'll have the richest experience by doing some research before you arrive, making reservations in advance where needed. Sure, you won't have any problem buying theme park tickets at the gate, but when you walk into, for example, the Magic Kingdom and you learn that there is a restaurant on the second floor inside Cinderella's castle and the Disney characters come by while you're eating dinner and give you one-on-one attention, many people walk up to the concierge and ask what the wait time is. For that restaurant, the assigned eating times were probably taken up three months ago.
So, in summary, do some research of the places you definitely will be visiting during your time here, make reservations in advance where they are recommended, and happy travels. |
