Zamalek was the reason why I chose this hotel. Our room was at the last floor of the building, which offered wonderful view over the Nile. The bathroom was clean and so was the room. The staff from the reception were very helpful and kind. Nothing fancy but decent. The floor was a bit shaby at the last floor and they could have aired the room before our arrival. The peculiarity of our stay there was the noise made by the kids in the schools nearby. But what sound is more beautiful then the crystal sound of children laughing? Needless to say that here, as in any other place in Egypt, if the booking is made by a person from an Arabic country, the fares are a lot lower.
