A tradition for more than 60 years, the Macys Thanksgiving Parade in the largest parde of its kind. Held each year on November 24, Thanksgiving Day, the parade winds its way downdown on Broadway, ending on Herald Square. The parade features floats, marching bands, numerous performers and of course, the giant balloons. All ending with Santa Claus. It marks the official beginning of the holiday season. So, if in NYC during that time of year, come early, grab a spot, and watch the parade go by.
