A wonderful city full of history only 20 minutes from Amsterdam by rail. It makes a perfect daytrip. One can find here some excellent museums, a famous cathedral, and wonderful 16th and 17th Century architecture.

Lovely little page on Haarlem. Like the Grote Market pic. Hans and I stopped in Haarlem once a few years ago and yes it is a very picturesque place. |
