Dover is one of the principal cities in the County of Kent in Southeast England. It is known for its famous white cliffs and its spectacular Norman Keep and Castle. Due to its location on the coast, it had great strategic importance throughout its history. It is this history and its scenic location that make it a worthwhile excursion from London.
The picture is of the castle keep behind the curtain walls. |
