Cordoba is one of the nicest cities in Andalusia. It is situated midway between Madrid and Seville. The city was once the seat of the Cordoba Caliphate. Monuments from that period and later abound in this historic city. Like Seville, it is a World Heritage Site. A vist here is a must for anyone visiting the region. There is much to see and do. Of course, the prime attraction is the famous Mesquite (or Mosque). But that is only the tip of the iceberg. |
