  • A fourth century BC Egyptian Temple presented to Spain for their work on the Aswan Dam. It was reconstructed here stone by stone. An odd monument in the heart of the Spanish Capital but still an attractive park. It is located just north of the Plaza Espana.

I spent a couple of days in Madrid, but didn't see the Temple of Debod - very strange sight to see in Spain!!

Stephen, this is a very interesting and informative group of pages concerning Madrid. I, too, loved the Prado Museum...one of the greatest. Wish I had taken the bus tour. Thanks for the tour.
