ROME: The Eternal City

by roamer61 - last update: May 7, 2009

Rome not only is the capital of Italy, but also one of the most important cities in the world. I just returned and the city has it all; ancient sites, great museums, historic monuments and more. I spent a grand total of 6 days, 4 at the start and 2 at the end of my trip. Rome is truly an eternal city, home to the greatest civilization of the ancient world.

You visited all the best and did not forget the Museo Altemps and Massimo, as good as the Vatican museum and no queuing.
