Harry Truman Home

Of all the towns and suburbs in the Kansas City metroplex, Independence, Missouri, has the most points of historic interest to visit. It was an important site in the process of settlement of the American west, and was home to President Harry S. Truman. Harry Truman Presidential Library

The best-known and most frequently visited sit in Independence is the Harry Truman Presidential Library. It features a first-class museum, archives for scholars, and the burial site of Harry and Bess.
