Elk Falls Travel Guide: 7 reviews and 23 photos

Elk Falls, Kansas, is large enough to be a dot on a map but not be listed in the index. This village on US Highway 160 in Elk County, and while it might appear to be on its way to becoming a ghost town, there are some residents with dreams and several attractions. Included are a historic bridge, one of the few waterfalls in the state, a pottery maker in residence, and a colorful annual outhouse festival. In addition, a rock garden from the 20s and 30s has been uncovered and is in the process of being renovated. It is not yet open for public viewing.

The Elk falls and River are very pretty, and I would enjoy the "annual outhouse tour!" Interesting!
