"Tombstone, Arizona" Tombstone by basstbn

Tombstone Travel Guide: 214 reviews and 711 photos

In the 1880's and 1890's, Tombstone, Arizona territory was a boisterous and lawless boomtown, home to miners, gamblers and desperadoes.

This is the town where the infamous "Battle at OK Corral" (immortalized in movies) took place.

Now it is a tourist destination, or - according to many - a tourist trap. It is worth a visit if you happen to be in southern Arizona (Tucson for instance), but I certainly would not make a special trip just to see Tombstone.
