Most of my Vienna page is made up of pictures taken in September 1998. However, I spent a few hours in Vienna in September 2012 on my way to and from Bratislava. I only managed to see a tiny bit of the centre of Vienna, but managed to take some pictures and I'm able to add some more tips,
I spent a weekend in Vienna. The city is so easy to explore, either on foot or by public transport. The historic & beautiful Innere Stadt (Inner City) is where you'll find the Habsburgs residences, Baroque churches and many other magnificent buildings. My highlights were The Hofburg and Stephansdom (St Stephen's Cathedral).
Encircling the Innere Stadt is the Ringstrasse. This horse-shoe of imperial boulevards is where you'll find the Parlament, City Hall, Opera House, museums and many other impressive buildings. Just outside the city centre is Schonbrunn, the Habsburgs former summer residence. The building and grounds a worth a few hours exploration.

I only visited Schonbrunn when I was in Vienna. I guess I missed out a lot. Thank you for sharing your beautiful pictures.
Schonbrunn is one of my favorite places to visit in Vienna!
