I really enjoyed my weekend in Nice, there was so much to see & do. Nice has it all, a modern new town that is easy to explore with open public spaces to relax in.

The old town is a delight to explore. Its old narrow streets lead you into beautiful historic squares. The area has many great bars, cafes & shops to visit too. The old town always seemed to be busy & was enjoyable to walk round both day & night.

Another highlight of Nice is to stroll along the promenade. It's an ideal place to sit & relax in the sun & watch the world go by. The place has a life of its own & was lively all day long. To get a stunning view of the city & the bay, a trip up to Le Chateau is a must.

Nice is an ideal base for exploring the Riviera. It is so easy by both bus & train to visit the resorts & hill top towns. Sadly I only had time for a trip to Monaco.

For a relaxing short break in a beautiful location, Nice is an ideal choice. I'm sure it's a place I'll return to one day.
