Starting A European Adventure in Amsterdam I like to travel through Europe on trains. I have found that starting my trips in Amsterdam is very convenient.
Train ride to Central Station from Schipol airport is 20 minutes (about 3e).
From CS, I have taken the high-speed trains to Frankfurt, Brussels and Luxembourg.
The trips aren't too long, you see some great scenery, and best of all...Show up 15 minutes before your train leaves and you're good to go...No arriving 2 hours before your flight (or is that 3 hours?).
