Ready to party? Let's go! - Egypt

Ready to party? Let's go!

Naama Bay, Sharm el Sheikh: Egypt's Las Vegas!

What's a town that's modern, full of neon lights, crowds, full of action pumping out up and down till the sunrise and most IMPORTANTLY, CLEAN? In Egypt?
Sharm El-Sheikh! No doubt about it!

Sharm is the place to enjoy and party! Don't come here in the day- it's virtually dead! Come here at night, when the whole town is alive just like Vegas!
Alright, the hotels may not be as high-rise and grand as the Bellagio or as stylish as the Luxor and there's no futuristic gambling facilities, (Gamblers beware!) amusement parks and hi-tech simulators (Kids and thrill-seeking people beware!) but hey! It won't really matter!
Because in Sharm at least you can say:
1.) It's clean
2.) It looks like a Greek isle town (All the buildings are white)
3.) And the most important thing you can say: You can say: "Wow! I'm in Egypt!"
And if you don't like the crowds, that's alright- no one's stopping you from just staying in your hotel room.

Sharm El-Sheikh, it's Egypt's Las Vegas!

Tips to enjoy the nightlife:
The 2 GOLDEN RULES on how to enjoy the nightlife here is:
1.) REST during the day! You need to save your energy for the night! And by the way,
Sharm is dead during the day. In fact, many restaurants are closed during the day. Do you like that?
2.) DON'T BE STINGY!
Enjoy Sharm!

Dress Code: There seems to be no dress code while walking the streets!

Just having dinner at 1 AM! (Cairo) - Egypt

Just having dinner at 1 AM! (Cairo)

The Entire city of Cairo!: One of the World's Busiest Vampires!

You'll be surprised: Caireans are one of the World's Busiest Vampires!

Only a few crazy Caireans (and tourists) here love the hot and dreadful afternoons! Everyone sleeps from 11 AM till 5 PM! (Many shops, offices close and have a long break from these hours!) And what happens when the sun sets (Around 7 PM) and the moon shines? Virtually everyone becomes vampires! Offices resume, banks reopen, and Mc. Donalds stays up till the morning! (The only exception is maybe the crazy tourist who exhausted all his/her energy during the day! Could this be you?)

You bet many people here PARTY! For such a 3rd world country and a city that struggles with poverty and so on, it's amazing how wild the people here can get! Many people here really literally do shake their butts like crazy (Belly dancing or butt dancing!) with the exotic, instrumental Arabic ethnic music to the fun and disco like Arabic Pop and surprise, surprise! Even a few Western Pop songs! (Egypt is pretty updated!)

So where do you see such a place like this?
1.) The nightclubs, ritzy hotels of Cairo.
2.) Khan el Khalili. (Oh...this place is one of the liveliest with music, dancing and busy sales people! (Who are not that aggressive compared to Luxor)
That's all I know so far.

But what if you don't like to party? What if you simply just like to walk down the streets, window shop with the crowd and hear a lot of noises? Don't worry! There's also a place for you!

1.) Talaat Harb Area- The whole Midan Tahrir square up to the entire Talaat Harb and Midan Ataba square is alive! See? If you stay here, one thing's for sure: You won't get bored!
That's all I know so far.

And one thing's for sure: Cairo (In these areas, which covers more than 50% of the city) is never dark at night- it's brigther than Paris and even San Francisco for me. It truly has a carnival atmosphere and shelters the world's busiest vampires! Be a vampire in Cairo! Don't be afraid- it's safe. (and lots of fun!)

Dress Code: You can wear eccentric attires! (Bizzare hair style, clothing) It's okay. (You'll even break the ice easier!)
Of course you can wear super sexy, (Undergarments can be seen), who can't force you to not to? But I'll just WARN you: You're making yourself a 'hot' target here!
(They'll really look at you and may be tempted to do the unthinkable! This isn't like Venice Beach (Los Angeles), Singapore or Nice where you can freely walk sexily and still attract compliments without much harrassment!)

Directions: Talaat Harb and Khan el Khalili are the brigthest areas here at night!

Getting Ready to Party in the Cruise Ships! - Egypt

Getting Ready to Party in the Cruise Ships!

Any Cruise Ships along the Boulevard at Night!: Belly Dancing Ships!

Who ever said those cruise ships sitting along the boulevard where just useless decoration?

Well, if you said yes, boy are you WRONG!

Those ships are the SHINY DISCO BALLS! They're the beating heart and magic of Aswan's nightlife! Party till you drop here!
Inside these monstrous ships are bars, theaters, discos, and even venues for belly dancing!
Of course, it's not only entertainment that's aboard these beautys, there are also restaurants, lounges in which you may dine in and relax for a while! (Though it will cost you. Advise: Eat ahead before!)

And worried if there's only a few bars suited to your taste? Don't worry! Remember, that Aswan is a cruise ship hub- almost every cruise ships begin/end here! And this is good!
Meaning, you'll never ran out of disco fever! (Only if for a rare instance, no cruise ships docked here at night!) And that even makes it better! Most of the cruise ships have their own decoration, interior decoration, style, entertaiment style and so on! The variety is just amazing-you won't get bored!
And you'll certainly meet new people everyday!

So don't be shy: Just step aboard these boats! They are more than just useless sitting ducks for eye candy!
(Note: Even us kids enjoyed the bellydancing and the stuff inside- only thing is, some ships were a bit smoky.)

Dress Code: Yes, it seems that some ships or majority of them have a dress code:
So far, we managed to enter most of the ships with:
NO SHORTS. (We all wore long pants)
Shirts seems to be okay.
We all wore SHOES.

I don't really know about the other dress codes in the other ships. But it'll be safe if you wear something decent. (No shorts and SHOES!)

Directions: Just stroll down the boulevard at NIGHT. (That's when the action starts!) So rest well during the day, party at night! You won't get bored in Aswan especially if you made a lot of friends here!
