"Baltimore. City of Crab & Maryland deathfest" Baltimore by oznztofro

I went to Baltimore May 2010 to Attend Maryland Death fest in Baltimore. I spent a week in the wonderful city down by the bay.

The townhouse was next door to a bunch of pubs & across the street from McDonalds.

The people in Baltimore love a chat & they love talking about their town

I must say i was so surprised seeing all the Crab souvenir in the gift shops. I brought myself a "don't bother me im crabby" Shot glass.

Maryland Deathfest was held between 28th-30th of May at te Sonar Venue in downton Baltimore

The festival showcases Death Metal, Black Metal, Thrash Metal & Doom metal bands from around the world

There are two outdoor stages to the left & right of the building & the sonar venue as the indoor stage

The festival starts on thursday with a pre deathfest party with a line up of great bands

Doors opened on the friday at 3pm. For 3 days i saw the best underground metal bands on earth

I saw: nazxul, gorguts, Possessed, DRI, Coffins, Tombs, Autopsy, Blood Duster, Incarnation, Aspyx, Chasm, Obituary, pestilence, pentagram, entombed, N2002 & Captain cleanoff

• Pros:great transport, good tasting crabs, Cheap light rail ticket,
• Cons:Gangstas prowl the streets of the city at night, Brown water on the bay
• In a nutshell:Visiting Baltimore is a great city to devour Crabs
