"Phoenix Hot, Bad transport, Not a walking city!" Phoenix by oznztofro

I got a Delta flight from JFk. It departed at 8am. It took me to Minneapolis/ St Pauls

I waited 4 hours before i could get my plane to Phoenix

I arrived in Phoenix around 4pm.

I stayed at the Hilton airport hotel 2435 South 47th Street, Phoenix.

Bewarned when getting a shuttle bus.

there are 3 Hilton phoenix hotels in town If you see a shuttle. Single the driver to stop for you

If nobody comes Call again & tell them they didnt pick you up

Now at the time it was 4.30pm & i had to get to town my 8pm for the heart concert.

There are no ATMS in ther terminal so make sure you have a credit card or cash. to pay the taxi driver

So i took a taxi to my hotel. I freshened up & started walking.

My walk map was wrong it was telling me to walk on A FREEWAY

So i found a Gas station & got the lovely owners to call a Taxi for me

i then took a taxi to the Celebrity theater in town

When i got out of the gig i found a great taxi drivber that kindly took me back to my hotel. We talked allot about some of my favorite rock chicks: like Heart, Pat Benatar, Linda rhonstant, livvy, Stevie Nicks & kate bush

The next moring i flew out of phoenix on a crappy airline US airways that canceled my flight to JFL because of high winds in NY

Celebrity theater

8pm

4 roows from the front & next to the entry of the stage

Erick Baker a young cha opened the concert up with an acoustic performance. It was wonderful & i hope he goes a long way

Heart took the stage to Queen "Bohemian raspody" & heart started their set with a song that hasnt been played like for 30 years "Cook with fire"

• Cons:No transport, ave to rely on taxi to get around without a car
• In a nutshell:Hot fi you like it but Drive a car to get around it
