At Reggio Emilia railway station

Reggio Emilia is probably best known for its Public Nursery and preschool system with its revolutionary ideas and focus on childrens abbilities and intrerest. I was visiting Reggio in hope of getting a better and more wholesome picture of this special pedagogy and found not only that, but a lovely old town with many interesting buildings and architectural features.

While walking around Reggio it is very easy to spot several things thatt are familiar from the pictures of Reggio children. For exampel the famous stone lions guarding a small piazza.
