Sailing into Lady Musgrave.

Sailing or cruising into Lady Musgrave can be extremely difficult. You do need to have an excellent GPS on hand to navigate your boat or yacht through the reef.

DO NOT attempt coming into Lady Musgrave Lagoon at nighttime as it can be extremely dangerous due to the coral reef and having limited visibility would cause major difficulties.

There are Red and Green beacons marked for the entrance into the lagoon.

It takes approx 7hours sailing time from Bundaberg. If you leave around 8am you will reach Lady Musgrave around 3pm, and be safely anchored by 5pm.

Its best to be anchored close to the island to avoid any winds.

High tide is the best time to navigate your way through the reef to the lagoon.
